China: Pastor John Cao's first testimony after release

 

 

A faithful servant of the Lord, Pastor John Cao, was released from prison after a 7-year sentence and returned back to his home in Hunan province on March 3rd, 2024. 

Thank you for praying for Pastor Cao and his family, and for rejoicing with his loved ones upon his release! 

 

Our ChinaAid team just transcribed and published Pastor Cao's first testimony after the end of his 7-year sentence.

"I have been separated from you all for seven years, but these seven years have been filled with joy, filled with God’s grace, and everyday God’s special presence has been with me. Truly, even though I walked through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for we know that the Lord Jesus is with us, and brothers and sisters are with me too!"

I encourage you to read Pastor Cao's powerful testimony, where he explains how even while in prison... "In this very lonely and isolated situation, I have never lost my joy, nor have I ever felt very lonely. I know that behind me, the Holy Spirit provides me with strength, and I have brothers and sisters from all over the country and the world with me."

At the end of his testimony, Pastor Cao shares a powerful and gracious prayer for his country. "Lord, we once again entrust our beautiful country to God and bless our compatriots. Let us use the best way possible to lead them to know the Lord."
