Ephesians 2:19-22
“You are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of GOD, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, CHRIST JESUS Himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the LORD. In Him you are being built together into a dwelling place for GOD by the SPIRIT.”
It’s always a good day to wake up knowing that GOD is with us, for us and INSIDE OF US!! Imagine His presence in the garden of Eden, His presence with the Israelites in their wilderness journey, His presence in the Tabernacle, His presence in the Ark of the Covenant, His presence in the Temple’s inmost holy place!!
Under the New Covenant CHRIST came to live amongst people to give them a taste of GOD’s presence. Yet He was rejected, crucified and died. His resurrection and ascension did not leave His followers alone because JESUS promised the HOLY SPIRIT to come upon His followers. With His SPIRIT we are greatly blessed to have GOD’s presence with us, for us and inside of us! “Do you not know that you are the temple of GOD’s SPIRIT? “ Acknowledge Him, worship Him, honor Him, please and serve Him today and everyday from here to eternity!!
Prayer…
LORD GOD, thank You that You’ve chosen to live in us by Your SPIRIT. May we never dare to dishonor You, may our hearts be pure, our minds sanctified and our lives completely surrendered to Your will, for Your praise, honor and glory, in the Marvelous Name of JESUS.
