Pakistan (MNN) — Last month, an explosion rocked the residence of Hafiz Saeed in Lahore, Pakistan. The explosion killed five and injured 42.

Saeed has been designated as a terrorist by the United Nations, and the U.S. put a 10-million-dollar bounty on him in 2012. He founded a well-known terrorist group in Pakistan. However, the Pakistani government lets him roam freely.

Nehemiah of FMI says he has been living in the same apartment building for 15 years. “FMI’s former National Director in Pakistan had been living three miles away from this hardcore terrorist. A very sad development of this incident is security agencies have arrested a Pakistani Christian man and his whole family. They accused them that they are the masterminds of this bomb blast. Christians in Pakistan were shocked when they learned about it, is as they are living in such miserable and difficult conditions in Pakistan.”

Voiceless people

No Pakistani Christians have the resources to attack such a high-security target. Nehemiah says it’s obvious the government has made them a scapegoat.

Ask God to comfort this family and all Pakistani Christians. “They don’t know anyone who is to blame. So they just pick this family because they know Christian people in Pakistan don’t have a voice. They’re voiceless people. Nobody is coming to raise a voice for them. Even that family cannot raise their voice. And I’m sure like other Christians, they’re going to be killed someday.”
