On the morning of March 18, when Ms. Yang Aiqing delivered clothes for the four church members to the police station, officers and joint law enforcement personnel requested that she take them to her home for a routine search. The search, however, escalated to police confiscating her computer, cell phone, and several other valuable items.
On the evening of March 18, police searched the home of Zhou Xun, also a member of Ren’ai Reform Church, and confiscated her computer. Ms. Zhou, disabled, suffers from cancer and has undergone a kidney transplant. The next morning (March 19), police summoned Li Jinzhi’s daughter to their station for questioning. Reporter did not know if police conducted a "routine" search on her home.
