Good PALM SUNDAY Morning!

HOUSE OF PRAYER

Matthew 21:13 (NKJV) "And He (JESUS) said to them, 'It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a ‘den of thieves.’ ”

"A den of thieves." Because of widespread wickedness, Noah and his family became the first family to be quarantined in the ark while GOD judged the wicked with a great flood. --Then another quarantine took place in the days of Moses when GOD instructed His servant to order the children of Israel to "shelter in place" as the LORD sent the angel of death all over Egypt which killed every first-born member of every household. And the only protection from the deadly plague was to have 'the blood' of an innocent lamb applied on the door post of every home that housed the families of GOD's chosen people. They were to remain quarantined till the death plague was over.

With today's global pandemic, GOD must be up to something out of the ordinary, to recover the attention and the heart of the human race. Have we become a 'den of thieves' robbing GOD of His rightful place in our life? Perhaps it's time to check and see where we stand in our relationship with the LORD, and let GOD back into our hearts and our homes. As we observe JESUS' triumphal entry into Jerusalem, let us open our hearts to our Savior and invite Him to take His proper place in our lives as LORD over us.

May we His children offer our bodies, our time, and our family to be His 'House of Prayer' for such a time as this till He comes again.

PRAY AND BELIEVE

Jeremiah 29:13 (NIV)

“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”

Jeremiah 33:3 (NKJV)

“ Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.”

Let us pray....

Almighty GOD, You see this global virus crisis. You understand everything about it. We come to you seeking your help. Give us new ways of looking at this situation. Give us solutions we haven't thought of. Give us insights into the changes that need to take place. Show us how to get from where we are to where we need to be. Help us to see this crisis from the view of a united working together - not from the view of opposing people fighting each other. LORD, you are an amazing GOD, and we need your amazing help. We look to you for greater wisdom and discernment as we battle this enemy together with all your saints. Draw us closer to you, Abba FATHER, during this crisis. We refuse and reject and will not let this crisis situation keep us from staying close to you and seeking your will to be done here on earth as it is in heaven. Help us to make right choices jn helping one another as you walk us through this crisis, we pray this in the Mighty Name of JESUS. Amen.

FAMILY MATTERS

Joshua 24:15

“But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.”

When we’re praying for peace of mind, sometimes we’re not just talking about our own minds, but also the minds of our own family. It’s important that we ask GOD to bless our families, protect them from anxiety, fear and worry...and bring them peace. GOD has the power to give us grace, forgiveness and strength to overcome all the challenges and difficulties we face. He also has the power to keep our family together especially during our quarantine period. These are days of uncertainty and many families are falling apart for various reasons. Belief and faith in GOD and the Lord JESUS CHRIST, empower families to pull together during crisis times. And because we have so much time with family now, let’s apportion time in prayer and Bible reading. My family and I practice this daily as we edify and encourage each other in CHRIST JESUS. We do it together as a family before bedtime. We find this practice very uplifting, giving us hope and peace. Let’s lift up prayers to strengthen family...

pray this prayer: Heavenly FATHER, thank you for today, Thank you for my dear family and all that You have blessed us with. I pray that you fill everyone in my family with peace and strength. I pray that our days go smoothly and that our lives are touched by Your SPIRIT in special ways. Draw us closer to You day after day. Reveal Yourself to us in marvelous ways. I pray that every barrier that separates us be brought down, and that we would live as a family united in our love, service and worship for You. I pray that Your will be done today and always, in the wonderful Name of JESUS. Amen.
