ISAIAH 26:3
“You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.”
This promise is a source of deep and steady peace that isn't affected by the storms of life, but comes from a steady trust in GOD. To experience this perfect peace, you and I must intentionally fix our mind on Him, even when thoughts of worry or anxiety try to take over. This is a peace that doesn't come from the world, but is a gift from GOD when you surrender your worries to Him, trusting that He is in control and will provide for you.
JOHN 14:27 -JESUS says,
“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly FATHER, I thank You for the promise of perfect peace You give to those whose minds are stayed on You. Help me to keep my mind focused on Your truth and Your promises, especially when I am feeling anxious or stressed. Grant me the grace to trust You in all situations, casting my cares and worries onto You, knowing that You are my rock and my strength. In JESUS' Mighty Name, Amen.
