1 Peter 4:7
“The end of all things is near. Be self-controlled and sober minded for the sake of your prayers.”
“The end of all things is near,” Peter reminds us to be self-controlled and sober-minded so we can pray effectively. This means actively seeking GOD’s wisdom in how we live, making choices that honor Him, and resisting the temptation to be distracted by worldly things.
JESUS is coming soon! Time is running out so quickly! Let us focus on GOD’s Word, allowing Him to shape our thoughts and actions, and let's pray for the strength to live a holy life that honors, pleases and gives Him glory, as we joyfully await the return of JESUS CHRIST.
Prayer:
Heavenly FATHER, we come before you in these last days, asking for clarity and wisdom. Help us to live wisely, making decisions that reflect Your will and honoring You in all we do. Strengthen us to reject and resist temptation and to walk in Your ways. Guide us in our prayers, that we may speak what is on Your heart. May our lives bring You glory and may we joyfully anticipate the soon return of Your Son, JESUS CHRIST. In His Mighty Name, Amen.
