ROMANS 8:39
“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of GOD that is in CHRIST JESUS our LORD.”
GOD allows Christians to experience suffering and it gives us a chance to trust Him. Suffering is part of life, and everyone experiences pain and sorrow at some point in their life. Suffering reminds us of our dependence upon the grace, mercy, compassion and the goodness of the LORD.
Suffering never exceeds the limitations GOD places upon it.
Though often I lament GOD’s choice of boundary lines, He knows my limitations and needs, concerning my suffering, while meeting me in the midst of my worst pain.
Serving His sovereign will for my life, suffering accomplishes His purposes while revealing His ultimate goodness. Our Heavenly FATHER knows what’s best for His suffering children. No pain can ever diminish His love for you and for me. GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME! May my pain bring Him praise, honor and glory.
Prayer:
Dear FATHER GOD, I praise and thank You that You never fail to comfort and encourage me even in the midst of severe and unbearable pain. Truly Your grace is not only sufficient, but it is also powerful in upholding and keeping me in the faith.
May my life bring honor and glory to You no matter what’s happening to me. In JESUS’ Good and Gracious Name. Amen.
