Ephesians 6:18
“And pray in the SPIRIT on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the LORD’s people.”
In other words, Ephesians 6:18 says: “Pray anytime there's an opportunity — no matter where you are or what you're doing. Use every occasion, every season, every possible moment to pray… There are so many things to pray for including Christians everywhere.” We are to talk with GOD persistently and about all matters. Nothing is too big or too small to discuss with the LORD. Finally, Paul highlights the importance of praying for the needs of other believers. We praise GOD in prayer even as we pray for our own needs, and also pray for the needs of other believers.
Prayer:
FATHER GOD, thank You for the gift of prayer. May Your SPIRIT inspire and remind us of the importance of prayer with each day that comes. May prayer be a frequent and huge part of our lives as You never cease to take care of us in ways that are beyond our daily needs. You deserve time from us. Help us to be better and faithful stewards of every opportunity to commune with You not only to unburden ourselves before You, but most importantly to honor You, and please You with our praises, thanksgiving and worship. In JESUS’ marvelous Name. Amen.
