Authenticity is often associated with personal identity and is valued in relationships, leadership, and creative endeavors. In short, transparency is about being open and accountable, honesty is about telling the truth, and authenticity is about being true to oneself. The best proof of the Authenticity of a believer is a life transformed and made authentic in every sense of the word expressed through a growing lifestyle of honesty, integrity, and transparency as influenced by the Bible without any other contributing factor except the HOLY SPIRIT. It all begins with a genuine New Birth in CHRIST, a sanctified lifestyle that’s led and inspired by the SPIRIT, and a growing hunger for the Word of GOD. CHRIST is our model and His likeness our goal.
Prayer:
Dear LORD, I need for You to help me see any lack of sincere authenticity in me that my life may continue to grow into maturity together with my fellow believers. I confess my need of Your presence and power to transform me. I ask You to forgive my stubborn heart and deliver me from everything that clouds my authenticity as a child of GOD.
In JESUS’ great and mighty name, I pray. Amen
