PHILLIPIANS 1:4-6
4-“In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy 5-because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, 6-being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of CHRIST JESUS.”

If your body doesn’t work the way it used to, a change in diet, exercise or life pace needs to change. When you lose your job and stare long and hard at a budget that doesn’t work, fear and anxiety can set in. And when a loved one dies, and the phone doesn’t ring like it used to, sharp pangs in the heart can abound. Sometimes change is not just hard. It is painful. But whether we like it or not, living and doing life here and now involves change. Jobs change. Relationships change. Locations change.
Our bodies change. We change. Yes, WE MUST CHANGE! And only GOD CAN CHANGE US! This is the most important change in life!
Life is change. The longer you live, the more you know that the only thing constant in this life is change. Whether our changes seem hard or make us happy, change teaches us that life is fragile, uncertain and temporary. Nothing lasts forever. The last time I checked, only GOD and His Word lasts forever. “For I, the LORD, do not change …” (Malachi 3:6a). In Psalm 102:27, the psalmist declares, “But You are the same, and Your years will not come to an end.” GOD doesn’t change!
It’s comforting to know that we serve a GOD who is the same yesterday, today and forever. HE is constant and dependable and unmovable!
He stays the same and so does His loving plans for us that are based in His Word. Psalm 33:11 says, “The counsel of the LORD stands forever…”  Isaiah 40:8 tells us “The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our GOD will stand forever.”

What does all these mean to us? -I believe that the LORD is doing something that’s unequaled in the world. He desires change in each of us.

How open are we to being His workmanship created in CHRIST JESUS, to do good works? -GOD is committed to change us for His eternal glory through CHRIST His Son! -Do we embrace His plan to keep on changing, molding and transforming us as His sons and daughters?
In this life, there are many things we cannot control, but we can depend on GOD and trust in His Word that no matter how life treats us, our ABBA FATHER won’t stop working in us until the Day of CHRIST! Let’s be encouraged today. Nothing happens that surprises GOD. Let Him love you, change you, and use you for His eternal purpose and glory! It’s the best kind of experience ever!

Prayer:
Dear Heavenly FATHER, You don’t change, but something in my life has. The change has not been easy, and I need You to help me walk through the new experiences in my life. Thank You for your Word. Please reassure and comfort me based on Your loving plans. I pray that You will bring to completion whatever work You are doing in me. In the unchanging Name of JESUS my Savior and Lord.
Amen.
