The world is full of never ending distractions. All these compete for our attention. Throughout the Bible, we are reminded of the need to keep our eyes on GOD. What we focus on is so important.  And there are millions of things…things we see, hear and feel that do not really matter if CHRIST JESUS is not our central focus in life. HE is the author and giver of life. How is your spiritual life? Are you focused on JESUS? Or is your life cluttered with so many things but CHRIST? I pray that the lyrics of the song, “Turn Your Eyes Upon JESUS” will bless and help you get focused on JESUS more than anything else that the world offers.

“O soul are you weary and troubled…No light in the darkness you see…There's light for a look at the Savior
And life more abundant and free.

Turn your eyes upon JESUS
Look full in His wonderful face…And the things of earth will grow strangely dim in the light of his glory and grace.

Through death into life everlasting…He passed, and we follow Him there; —O’er us sin no more hath dominion—
For more than conqu’rors we are!

Turn your eyes upon JESUS
Look full in His wonderful face…And the things of earth will grow strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace.

His word shall not fail you He promised…Believe Him and all will be well…Then go to a world that is dying…His perfect salvation to tell.

Turn your eyes upon JESUS
Look full in His wonderful face…And the things of earth will grow strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace.”

COLOSSIANS 3:1-3
“Since, then, you have been raised with CHRIST, set your hearts on things above, where CHRIST is, seated at the right hand of GOD. 2-Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. 3-For you died, and your life is now hidden with CHRIST in GOD.”

2 CORINTHIANS 4:18
“So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. . ”

HEBREWS 12:2-3
“fixing our eyes on JESUS, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before Him He endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of GOD. Consider Him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.”
