ROMANS 12:9-10
“Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. “

Let love be genuine. Choose, by faith, to put on love. Colossians 3:12-14 says, “Put on then, as GOD’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the LORD has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.”

The professed love of Christians to each other should be sincere, free from deceit, and unmeaning and deceitful compliments. Depending on Divine Grace, every follower of CHRIST must detest and dread all evil, and love and delight in whatever is kind and useful. We must not only do that which is good, but we must cleave to it. That’s how we are loved by ABBA GOD, and that’s how we are to love one another. We are also called to honor one another, just as we honor the LORD in all that we do. Honor is the love garment that holds and keeps us in our Christian walk. Then the world will see and benefit from our sincere love towards GOD and for one another.

Prayer:
Dear ABBA FATHER…
Let my love be genuine for everyone in heaven and on earth. Help me hate what is evil at all times and in every way, everywhere. Help me hold fast to what is good. May I love my fellow Christians with brotherly affection. May I show them greater honor than they show me. May I rejoice in hope and be patient in tribulation. Let me be constant in prayer. May I contribute to the needs of others. And LORD, please help me to bless those who persecute me. Help me to bless, not to curse. I pray this in the marvelous Name and authority of JESUS CHRIST. Amen.

Joyfully Yours,
Pastor Wally & Sister Mattie
