Luke 10:18–19 (ESV)
18 “And he said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. 19 Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you.”
Winning in JESUS is real and attainable now because our Lord JESUS has defeated Satan and every evil power of the world. We win in JESUS by resting and trusting Him to triumph for us While we remain on earth. The LORD JESUS reigns victorious through those who have been delivered from the kingdom of darkness and translated into His glorious kingdom of light.
However, a day will come when the victories of JESUS CHRIST will be fully realized and celebrated in the new heavens and earth: “He will swallow up death forever. The Sovereign LORD will wipe away the tears from all faces; He will remove His people’s disgrace from all the earth. The LORD has spoken” (Isaiah 25:8). GOD is telling us in His Word that in CHRIST and through faith in JESUS CHRIST, we have been AUTHORIZED TO WIN over all the power of the enemy! Is this good news or what?
Prayer:
ABBA FATHER, I thank You that in CHRIST JESUS, my enemies will not win because You continue to protect me, and I believe that nothing can destroy me because Your SPIRIT is with me. You comfort me, protect me and guide me. Thank You that You have given me authority to win over all the power of the enemy, in the mighty Name of JESUS. Amen.
