John 11:25-26 “JESUS said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?'"

The resurrection of JESUS CHRIST proves the gospel to be true.  The fact that JESUS is alive today means that He is able to save today. This was a major argument of St. Paul in 1 Corinthians 15, where he explains how the whole Christian gospel depends on the resurrection of JESUS:

“And if CHRIST has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain and your faith is in vain…and if CHRIST has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins. Then those also who have fallen asleep in CHRIST have perished. If in CHRIST we have hope in this life only, we are of all people most to be pitied.”
(1 Corinthians 15:14; 17-19)

The resurrection is not only a fundamental part of the gospel, but it is the glue that holds every part of the gospel together. Without it, Christians believe in vain and live without hope. But since CHRIST JESUS has risen from the grave, we have hope of forgiveness, justification, and eternal life in
His Holy Name.

What does the resurrection of JESUS mean to you today?

The resurrection of JESUS means that GOD the FATHER will give His HOLY SPIRIT to believers. After CHRIST had risen and ascended, He sent the promised HOLY SPIRIT to continue His work on earth.

This means that CHRIST JESUS’ earthly ministry continues today through His people, in whom He dwells by the HOLY SPIRIT. For this reason, GOD through CHRIST, empowers us to spread the Good News of Salvation by the power and presence of the HOLY SPIRIT in our lives! GLORY, HALLELUJAH!!! -HAVE A HAPPY RESURRECTION SUNDAY!!!

Prayer:
Dear LORD JESUS, may I realize afresh today what Your death and RESURRECTION mean for me…Forgiveness, freedom, and the ability to walk with You, dwelt and empowered by Your SPIRIT, through this fallen world into eternity. May I always be encouraged and find my life’s satisfaction in living for You, honoring and pleasing You, praising You and always thankful to You for Your willingness to love me, change me and use me for Your glory!
I rejoice in celebrating Your Resurrection today, In Your most powerful Name, Amen.

Rejoicing In CHRIST,
