1 Chronicles 16:11
“Seek the LORD and His strength; seek His presence continually!”
Priorities can easily get thrown off by things that, in the grand scheme of eternity, are not very important. Endeavor to be in GOD’s presence continually, at home with family, at work, at school, whether alone or with others, and during personal highs and lows. Always seek the LORD. He is delighted when we involve Him in our lives. Failing to practice His presence makes a person insecure, unsettled and unstable. A New Year is a blessing, new beginnings are opportunities and chances for us to seek GOD’s presence.
In John 3:16, GOD’s giving of His Son, JESUS, is a clear evidence that our salvation is GOD’s priority. Have you acknowledged and received CHRIST JESUS as your Savior and LORD? This to me, is the top priority if we are to seek the LORD, and enjoy His presence.
The holy Scriptures reveals GOD’s very great and precious promises. Trusting in JESUS is key to unlocking, receiving and enjoying GOD’s promises! Try making Him your daily priority this coming new year. It’s a golden choice with no regrets!
Prayer:
Dear GOD, another year is almost over, and a new year is just around the corner. Forgive me for failing to make You my priority. Please help me renew my mind and make me more sensitive to seeking You and making You my everyday priority as I navigate through the new year. I do acknowledge CHRIST and believe in Him as my Savior and LORD. May Your SPIRIT within me make me grow in my faith and draw me closer to You each and everyday as I welcome You and the new Year.
I pray this in the wonderful Name of JESUS CHRIST. Amen!
