  • 36 people sleep on a communal platform in a
  • room about 40 square meters.
  • 1 washbasin, 1 open toilet.
  • Mandatory political re-education.
  • Physical punishment.
  • Squat 3 times a day for up to 3 hours each time.
  • 3 times daily watch state-sponsored news, sing political songs, and praise the Chinese Communist Party.
  • Prolonged malnutrition and significant weight loss.
  • No medication or treatment for illnesses.

Lawyer Who Defended Zion Church Pastors Flees CCP Pressure
Beijing lawyer Ruth Wang fled China with her husband and two young children, arriving in Taiwan on September 2 after authorities demanded her law firm dissolve for defending detained Zion Church leaders. Father-Son Pastors Tortured: Son Freed, Father’s Fate Unknown
Pastor Lian Xuliang of Xi’an’s banned Church of Abundance returned home on September 5 after four years of detention on “fraud” charges. Authorities placed him, his father Pastor Lian Changnian, and preacher Fu Juan under residential surveillance. All three reportedly suffered torture, including beatings and deprivation. Read Now…
