A CeCe Winans song inspired Nigerian Christians' powerful prayer...

We’ve been talking about Nigeria a lot lately—and with good reason.  

Thousands of Christians have been killed there in recent years, simply for following Jesus.  

But that hasn’t dimmed the hope of Christ.  

Just after Easter, a group of Nigerian Christians came together to record this powerful video that I want to share with you.  

You might be familiar with the rendition of “Come Jesus Come” by Gospel singer and Grammy Award winner CeCe Winans. It’s a powerful song that laments the hurt we face in this world but looks forward to the hope that Jesus brings.  

When our Nigerian brothers and sisters performed this song, they were still under curfew after an attack that killed multiple Christians. But still they sang of God’s love and the hope that we all have the He will come again.  

I invite you to listen and reflect on the needs of your Nigerian brothers and sisters—and for Christians around the world who experience persecution.
