China’s Christians Defy Worst Persecution Since Cultural Revolution
Authorities raided the Early Rain Covenant Church’s Sunday worship near Chengdu on June 14, detaining dozens of believers, including elders and young children. The Chinese Communist Party under Xi Jinping targets crosses, Bibles, and leaders.

Despite this, the church grows rapidly. In 1949, Christians numbered under one million. Purdue University now estimates at least 100 to 130 million, over a 100-fold increase. Believers endure persecution to spread the Gospel, which no government can bind. Watch Dr. Bob Fu Detail this Revival on State of Independence with Joe Watkins

Pray With Us:

  • Father, we plead for the Yueyang House Churches. We pray like James 1:2-4 encourages us, that they would count it joy as they face these trials, knowing this test is producing steadfastness.
  • Lord, we cry out for the Texas mother and daughter. We pray Philippians 1:6. That You have begun a good work in them, and surely You will bring it to completion
  • Father, we pray for Su Ziming, Pastor Wang Lin, and their children. We declare that they would not fear. You are with them. You are their God. You will strengthen them (Isaiah 41:10).
  • Jesus, we ask you for Pastor Guo Xiaolin and his wife, Liang Cuili. We ask that justice would roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream (Amos 5:24).
  • Father, we ask that you send times of refreshing for China’s persecuted church (Acts 3:19-20).
