CCP Recurring Raids on Church Cause 12-Year-Old Girl Severe Psychological Panic Disorder

Kemu has experienced repeated, abrupt raids on her home church. Maizhong Reformed Church in Fuyang, Anhui, faces constant, unexpected raids from police officers bursting through the door and swarming the church. They order the pastor to stop preaching, demand forced inspections, and separate parents from children for interrogations.

Again, on April 29th, the CCP raided a children’s play-study activity. Children were separated for hours, and Kemu experienced severe convulsions every ten minutes. Kemu’s father, Brother Yang Zhiyan, faithfully seeks medical care. Multiple medical examinations have been conducted. Fuyang Maizhong Reformed Church families endure long-term psychological pressure. Brother Yang asks for prayer for Kemu. Unfolding Story Read Now

Story #2: Chinese Filmmaker Exposes Electric Shock and Suspension Torture | Abruptly Arrested by Beijing Police

International Chinese filmmaker Du Bin was taken by Beijing police one day before his trip to Japan. Du Bin has been detained for over 50 days in Shunyi Detention Center. He has been charged with “picking quarrels and provoking trouble.” This is a bogus charge the Chinese Communist Party exploits to crackdown on opposition. The CCP has yet to provide the family with any legal documents.

In 2004, Du Bin shot news photos for The New York Times’ Beijing bureau, Time magazine, and The Guardian. In 2013, his documentary, Above the Ghosts’ Heads: The Women of Masanjia Labor Camp, exposed allegations of torture at the Masanjia Women’s Re-education Through Labor facility in Liaoning Province. He also published torture accounts of 12 victims, such as electric shocks, suspension torture, and sexual violence, drawing significant public attention.

Du Jirong, his sister, needs our help to sound the alarm, raise awareness, and apply pressure on the CCP. Developing Story Read More

Story #3: Charged with Subversion: CCP Escalates War on Early Rain Church Leaders for Peaceful Faith

Chinese authorities have formally charged two leaders of Chengdu's Early Rain Covenant Church—Elder Li Yingqiang and Brother Lin—with “inciting subversion of state power,” escalating a crackdown that began on January 6, 2026. Seven individuals remain detained or restricted, including Li's wife Zhang Xinyue, Preacher Dai Zhichao, and others held in Deyang and Zhongjiang detention centers.

Their only offense: leading peaceful Christian worship in an unregistered house church. This mirrors the 2018 prosecution of founder Wang Yi, still imprisoned. Rev. Dr. Bob Fu of ChinaAid condemns the weaponization of national-security laws to criminalize faith. One member, Song Haibing, was released but without returned belongings. Urgent calls grow for due process, access to counsel, and unconditional release of those persecuted for belief.

Stand with Early Rain's faithful—pray fervently, share their story widely, and urge your leaders to demand their release.

Story 4: “Trump, Please Pay Attention to Kazakhstan”

Kazakhstan unleashes an intimidation and harassment campaign on Kazakhs sharing simple note reading: “Trump, Please Pay Attention to Kazakhstan.” An administrative official, accompanied by two police officers, visited Atajurt member Gulnaz Serikbayeva, accusing her of “inciting the public” based on comments left by others on her Facebook video. Turkistan Region: Bagdat Togysbayev, who posed for a photo holding the slogan, was detained for five days.

Serikzhan Bilash stated that the authorities’ disproportionate reaction to citizens merely holding a sign asking the U.S. president for attention exposes the government’s extremely limited tolerance for free expression. On January 19, Bilash’s Facebook account was permanently removed following mass reporting campaigns, with no appeals mechanism available. The Chinese Communist Party is exporting tyranny beyond its borders! We must stop China’s transnational repression. Developing Story Read Now

Story #5: China Imposes Centralized Passport Control on Catholic Clergy

All Catholic clergy, including bishops, priests, deacons, and nuns, must surrender their passports and travel permits. Effectively placing priests, bishops, and nuns under Party-state–style personnel surveillance and movement restrictions.

“This policy marks a dangerous escalation in China’s war on religious freedom. By confiscating passports and imposing cadre-style controls on Catholic clergy, the Chinese Communist Party is transforming pastors and priests into state-managed security subjects. This is not ‘Sinicization’, it is the criminalization of faith and the systematic severing of China’s churches from the global religious community.” Breaking Story Read More Now
