Reports on the death toll from the protests in Iran are horrific, with anywhere from 6,000 to 30,000 or more dead, depending on the source.
Yet, Iranians, including Christians, bravely voice their dissent against Iran’s tyrannical government. Nationwide strikes and protests over Iran’s high inflation, energy shortages, and economic challenges are ongoing.
Despite these challenges, Iranian Christians remain bold yet cautious. Long targeted by authorities, they are well aware of secret police brutality. In fact, they are persecuted so frequently that the government profits from it.
The world is now witnessing the atrocities inside Iran, as videos on social media and testimony from Iranian Christians who fled the Islamic Republic raise international awareness.
International Christian Concern (ICC) is monitoring the crisis as it unfolds and preparing to meet the practical and spiritual needs of Iranian Christians.
Please join us in praying for our brothers and sisters in Iran, and share their stories so others know how to pray for them, too.
