April 3rd, 2023.

In a great time of uncertainty, Mayflower Church members remained faithful to the Lord even while locked up in immigration prison a year ago today.

Isn't it amazing that these church members held praise and worship services twice a day inside the prison?

I heard the Gospel was preached to several other prisoners and two Chinese "decided to believe in the Lord, joined our worship, sang hymns, read Scriptures, and prayed with us."

Pastor Pan himself told me that "The Spirit of the Lord filled us and greatly blessed every soul in the cell. All achieved more than I could have imagined. The name of the Lord is victorious and glorified.”

In a place where so many prisoners certainly felt hopeless, they felt the love of Christ through the Mayflower Church and glorified our Lord.

Thank you for your prayers and intercession for this congregation that no doubt gave them spiritual strength and endurance even while locked up in immigration prison.

If you'd like to read the rest of the Mayflower's story - check out our website to learn about their amazing testimony of freedom.

And as we count down the days to the Mayflower's one-year freedom anniversary on April 7th, I know it would be a great encouragement if you'd consider writing a letter to the congregation or a particular family (you can find them here).

Please send any letters to ChinaAid C/O Mayflower Church, PO Box 8513, Midland, TX, 79708. Your notes are truly cherished by these families!
