Activist Yang Hai arrives in USA
ChinaAid is happy to release our report on the safe arrival of democracy activist and Tiananmen Square student leader Yang Hai to the United States on December 22nd. Yang reunited with his wife and daughter for the first time in more than 11 years. ChinaAid President Bob Fu expressed gratitude to the U.S. State Department for their intervention to expedite Yang's immigration visa. Read how Yang had 'tears streaming down his face' when seeing his family.

Pray for the health and provision of Yang, his wife Wang Jing, and daughter Emma.

Elder Li Yingqiang summoned
Police summoned and questioned Chendgu Early Rain Covenant Church Elder li Yingqiang two separate times in December 2023. This week, ChinaAid reported on the situation and how police confiscated Elder Li's computer. It's the latest instance of persecution against Early Rain since a brutal crackdown in 2018.

Pray for Elder Li, his family, church members, and their persecutors.

Mongolian Christian in perilous condition
This week, ChinaAid reported on a video by the aunt of jailed Chinese Mongolian Christian Alamusha, who was inexplicably sentenced to 15 years in jail. His aunt states Alamusha was tortured in solitary confinement and that his life is in imminent danger. Here's why Alamusha was wrongly detained and given an unfair sentence.

Pray for Alamusha's safety and health and for divine justice for his case.

Leaders continue to Sinicize Christianity
ChinaAid's media team wrote about a meeting between various leaders of state-sanctioned Christian churches across China. Discussion points within the meeting included the principle of religious Sinicization, with the assertion that "Protestantism in China must be Chinese in orientation." More on how Chinese leaders promote the mixture of the Gospel with Communist governmental ideas.

Pray for all Chinese governmental and 'religious affairs bureau' leaders.
