$55K fine enforced on Christians
Sadly, Communist officials continue to enforce a fine totaling nearly $55,000 (400,000 Chinese yuan) on Pastor Yang Xibo and his wife Wang Xiaofei of Xunsiding Church after years of legal battles and appeals. The latest notice ordered the couple to pay by October 9th for "organizing an illegal gathering."

After seeing the notice, both agreed it was God's gift to them and Wang quoted Psalm 2 as her response: “Therefore, you kings should be wise; be warned, you rulers of the earth! Serve the LORD with fear, and celebrate his rule with trembling.”

Pray for Yang, Wang, their legal team, and for their persecutors to rescind the fine.

Two Christians detained for 100+ hours
On September 28th, the pastoral team of Beijing Zion Church posted a prayer request letter for Huang Duojia and Li Mingjie, who were detained for more than 100 hours after being taken by police at Sunday service.

Sadly, their families have not heard any news about these Christians but here's how you can intercede for them in prayer.

Pray for Huang and Li to be immediately released, and for their persecutors.
