Trial Postponed For Christian Teachers
ChinaAid's media team reported on the postponed case for Xuande School teachers Wang Minghai and Wan Hongxia this week. The pretrial conference will take place on November 13th, with the trial commencing on November 25th.

Officials raised the Xuande School of Mount Caramel Church in May 2021. Police took cell phones, books, and computers. Officials announced the school's shutdown on May 28th 2021. Several teachers were taken by police at the time. Some have been released on bail.

Bar Association Recognizes Christian Lawyer
Chinese human rights lawyer Jiang Tianyong has received the 2022 International Bar Association's Human Rights Award for his work within China. Lawyer Jiang has spent years representing Chinese dissidents, activists, those infected with HIV, Falun Gong practitioners, and others who face persecution and discrimination.

Sadly, Lawyer Jiang was unable to receive the award in person as he is under house arrest in China. His wife Jin Bianling, who lives in America, received the award on his behalf.

Pray for Lawyer Jiang and his family, along with the CCP officials holding him under house arrest.

Dissident Describes Harsh Prison Conditions
Jailed Shanghai dissident Ji Xiaolong was allowed to meet with his lawyer earlier this month. According to ChinaAid's media report, Ji said his cell was severely overcrowded without sunlight or any outdoor activities at the prison. Ji also said he has not been able to receive medical care for a severe toothache.

Pray for Ji and family, all jailed in Nanhui Prison, and for all prison guards and officials.
