Myanmar (UCA News)
More than 900 civilians were rescued on April 22 amid the military's offensive against Kachin rebels. Three churches in Namti town have become shelters for those who have fled their homes. Father Peter Hka Awng Tu said that people from Zup Mai had to walk for three days to find shelter. Clothes and food were donated by parishioners.
How to Pray: Pray for the presence of God to bring comfort and rest to those who have fled their villages, for protection and provision for civilians and churches providing humanitarian assistance, and for God's presence to bring stability and overturn darkness within the region.
