Christian Worshipers Harassed in Egypt, Pelted With Rocks

As Egyptian authorities have been closing churches in southern Egypt over the past few weeks, many are calling for the discrimination to stop. Allegedly, some worshipers were harassed and pelted with rocks before some churches were closed. After initially remaining quiet about these incidents, Coptic Christians have spoken up: “Due to our silence the situation has is as if prayer is a crime the Copts must be punished for.”
