Pastor
Wally
President and Founder
Pastor Wally was arrested in Saudi Arabia and imprisoned for being
the pastor of one of the largest underground Christian Churches
in the land of the Muslims. He was tagged as public enemy number
one because of his faith and for his sincere desire to serve the
Lord Jesus Christ. He was put in prison by the religious authorities
in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on October 14, 1992, and was severely
tortured. For his crime, the high court of Saudi Arabia sentenced
him to death by public hanging on December 25, 1992.
But God moved His hands to spare him from the death penalty by
using his wife and daughter, and Christians, human rights organizations
and some politically influential people from all over the world
to protest his death sentence and appeal for his freedom to the
Monarchy of Saudi Arabia.
He was released the night before the scheduled date of execution
and celebrated Christmas Eve on board an aircraft that flew him
to freedom.
His birth name is Oswaldo Magdangal, fondly known as Pastor Wally
by friends and family. He was the founding pastor of an active
secret Christian Fellowship and director of a secret Bible school
in Saudi Arabia, whose graduates helped pioneer churches in many
countries.
His testimony has been featured in several books, newspapers,
magazines, radio and television programs such as The 700 Club
with Pat Robertson, The Coral Ridge Hour with Dr. D. James Kennedy,
100 Huntley Street with David Mainze of Canada, Trinity Broadcasting
Network (TBN) and many others in Asia, Europe and the USA. Circulated
worldwide, read, heard and seen by millions, Arrested In The Kingdom
is available on video, audio and book form. Pastor Wally's testimony
is available on Video, cassette, book, CD and DVD formats.
Pastor
Wally is also the president and founder of Christians In Crisis,
a global ministry that serves the Body of Christ with special
focus on the persecuted Church.
Pastor Wally knows what it means to be persecuted. His presentation
and testimony brings an increased awareness to the plight of Christians
in crisis around the world. His witness is a call to every Christian
to be informed, be concerned, be involved, and be a part of the
Body of Christ that responds to the cries and the needs of those
who share our faith but not our freedom.
