China (China Aid)
Authorities in China recently shut down a Christian academy in Henan province, claiming that students were being “brainwashed.” Authorities confiscated numerous items belonging to the church, including a computer and books for theology classes. It is not uncommon for Christian classes and churches to be raided by officials in China, as Christianity is seen as a threat to the government. However, the Gospel continues to spread throughout China as Christian families find ways to practice their faith in secrecy.
- Pray that this academy would be able to reopen soon.
- Pray that students in this program would grow up to become Christian leaders in their communities.
- Pray for Chinese authorities to have a change of heart to show compassion on this ministry.
