Christians in Crisis is assisting another ministry in Nepal in reaching out to the people in Nepal by using unique methods to open doors for the Nepalese to hear about the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ through this assisted ministry and through the generosity of those the God is touching to make a difference in the primarily Hindu nation of Nepal.

Children are especially the focus of those in the Maoist movement in Nepal and have often been used as tools against the government through kidnappings from schools and forced reeducation camps. Many schools have suffered mass abductions and it is difficult for the Nepalese to have an affordable educational system through the few private schools there. Children are often abandoned and left by their parents to be given over to orphanages, some even go to prison with their parents. These are some of the reasons, why CIC has joined the ministry we are assisting to make an impact on the children of Nepal through 

our Love the Children program at CIC.

Other needs related to the children of Nepal:

Food
Housing
School Supplies
Clothing
Temporary Housing

Many children in Nepal live on the streets. CIC wants to assist our contacts with the feeding and clothing of those abandoned to the streets of Nepal. CIC is providing clothing, candy, assisting in the funding of feeding projects for street children and orphans. Often temporary housing is needed for abandoned children in transition to orphanages. School supplies are always needful.



Many are coming to know Christ in Nepal but lack the basic tools to establish themselves in the area of discipleship. CIC desires to provide Christian resources to our assisted ministry for the development of a Christian library to serve the needs of the Body of Christ in Nepal. Materials listed below are welcomed and cherished by the Nepalese:

Audio cassette teaching tapes
PAL Christian Videos
New or used Christian books
New or used Sunday school material
Contributions for the purchase of Nepalese bibles
Contributions for translations and distribution of Christian materials

One such project in progress is the translation and distribution of Pastor Wally’s testimony into the Nepalese language to be distributed as an encouragement to the persecuted church of Nepal.



Women in Nepal are often treated as second-class citizens. Next to children, they suffer much. They are abandoned, mistreated, left with children and no means of support. CIC wants to assist our contact in providing materials to assist in the education and support of women who have been left with few options of supporting their children through:

Educational Materials such as paper, pencils, reading materials
Women’s Literacy classes
Providing domestic support such as temporary housing and temporary assistance with food.
Vocational and craft training
