Tajikistan: Religion Law Sees One Year, Ministry Continues |

Source: www.MNNonline.org Date: March 29, 2007 In Tajikistan, harsh religion laws have now been in place for one year. However, Sammy Tippit Ministries held a leadership conference at the end of last year, and Christian leaders are asking for more. They're wanting us to come back quickly and do a broader one with all of the surrounding countries because it went so well, and they've had, as a result of the conference, the Lord has been blessing the evangelistic outreach of the leaders who were there with us. Since then, one leader's father-in-law has opened up to the Gospel. Because of the religion laws the ministry has a simple strategy. We did it very privately. Normally when we go into Muslim areas and Muslim countries we try to do our leadership training in a very quiet way, and not something where we make a lot of noise.
