Pastor Liu Fenggang: was arrested in October of 2003 and remained in prison until February 2007 for "leaking state secrets". Soon after being released he suffered a heart attack resulting from lack of treatment of his heart condition in prison. On 15 May, 2007, Liu Fengang, was stopped, assaulted, then detained. At the police station, arresting officers accused Liu of "disrupting public service" and "disturbing the peace." He is currently under house arrest.

Gao Zhisheng: known as 'China's hero of 2005', has been a leading champion of religious freedom, defending important cases, including the prominent case of Beijing house church leader Pastor Cai Zhuohua. He has published reports and open letters over abuses of religious and other freedoms, including the mistreatment of Christians in Xinjiang. He is currently under house arrest.

Xu Yong Hai: has worked as a doctor at a hospital in Beijing. He was sentenced to a three-year jail term in 2003 for revealing some information about suppression by the Communist regime on Christian family churches. He is currently under house arrest.

These 3 faithful Christian men have been persecuted for their bold stand for Christ and for other Christians. Please up hold these men and their families in prayer. Pray also for our Voice of the Martyrs contacts and workers in the area who are assisting them.
