2008 INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER FOR THE PERSECUTED CHURCH (IDOP) Friends, it’s time to prepare! Would you send your pastor a message similar to the one below along with some of the resources available for IDOP? If you are a pastor, would you hold a service for IDOP this year, especially if you have not in the past? Let’s work together to bring awareness and gather more intercessors for our brothers and sisters who are being persecuted even right now! Below, I am listing several links for resources for International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. This year, the ‘official’ day is November 9th, however, anytime is quite appropriate to let others know of the continued persecution and suffering of our brothers and sisters in Christ. How can we not pray and urge others to pray for our family in Christ worldwide … however, before they can pray, they must be made aware.
