UPDATE, May 3rd

(An e-mail from Pastor Wally this morning in bold letters ... info after I spoke with him tonight, in italics)

We have just concluded two days of Pastors' seminars and evening crusades where the Holy Spirit's power and presence was greatly manifested resulting to changed lives for eternity.

Baguio City was overwhelmed with our two days of preaching the WORD! The elders of the city have extended an invitation for us to return next year to hold what they hope to be the largest crusade in their city's history. He said pastors traveled to this mountain-top city from at least 6 different provinces, some driving for an entire day to attend this Pastor’s Conference. They had two morning sessions and two afternoon sessions, plus the evening crusade each day with Pastor Wally speaking in each session. As he tells the participants, they’re looking at a miracle when they look at him … God renews his strength in body and voice, so that he can speak each time!

The fire that destroyed by brother Dante's house that also included all that we brought with us from the USA were totally burned to the ground.

SM and I are still traveling with the only clothes that we had on since the day the fire took place. But we have a few new set of clothes now to wear for the seminars and crusades. Some of the brethren here gave us some money to buy clothes and basic necessities. Praise God!

It is still a shock to us whenever we remember the fire and all that went down in the flames.

My brother is getting some donations from friends and family...but still a long way to replace all that they lost.

Please help us pray for the items that we really need ASAP. I have several engagements awaiting in the USA and beyond. SM and I feel very blessed despite the fire because we know that our FATHER will replace everything. HE has never failed us yet in all of our years of service to HIM.

I preached last Saturday in the city of Tarlac (my birthplace) wearing only my shorts and slippers...the same clothes that I have had for three days...and yet the power and presence of the Lord came down upon all that were in attendance!!! Here, also, he has been invited back for a city-wide crusade next year. Pastor Wally has prayed for open doors and takes each invitation as an answer to his prayer. He has been invited to many, many places and always responds he will come, he just asks the pastors to pray for finances and resources.

God proved to us all that the preaching of HIS WORD can bring out tremendous results no matter what HIS servant is wearing. I was so thrilled that everyone welcomed me and SM with open arms as we came to demonstrate the love and power of the Lord and HIS Word.

They traveled until very late last night to get to the next place of ministry, but when I spoke with him, he was so excited and couldn’t stop talking about all that the Lord is doing in the lives of people! People are getting saved and the people of God are being set on fire. There will be a large unity meeting for all the churches at this location on Saturday, and huge crusades on Sunday and Monday evening. He asks that we continue to pray for a harvest and the equipping of the saints. There is another pastor’s conference in yet another location on Tuesday and Wednesday next week. Please be in prayer for these meetings.

The School of Ministry that just concluded in Indonesia was powerful, but Pastor Wally says “the intensity of the presence of God is increasing!” He says, “I lost all my notes, but I have the WORD in my heart and the LORD in my life …” He is speaking from the heart of God.

He and Matilda are so exhausted from all the travel, ministry and after-affects of the fire situation. Please continue to pray for rest and refreshing, a hedge of protection to be around them and the Blood of Jesus to cover them, and also their daughter at home.
