Page 1 of 8 UPDATE, May 16th, 2007 Pastor Wally and Matilda continue to try to rest and recover from jet lag and all the situations associated with returning home after a month away … Pastor Wally is also trying to begin to rebuild his files that were all lost with his computer in the fire. It is a difficult and frustrating task, as any of you know who have had a computer crash, etc. So much was lost due to this fire situation. Please pray that he will find back-up files and/or friends will find things stored in their computers that he has sent them that will be useful. Also, please pray that the laptop, cameras, clothes, and all other ministry and personal items lost can be replaced soon. Update on Pastor Wally’s brother & family: Dante and his family found a house to rent not too far from the fire's scene. Matilda and I had the privilege to dedicate the house and pray for my brother's entire family on May 10, Thursday morning - prior to our May 11 return flight to San Francisco. They have had some people donate some household stuff but they are still a long way from recovering all that they've lost. One of Dante's married daughters was scheduled to arrive in Manila on May 13 for a month's vacation from South China where her husband works for a Chinese design firm. All her and her husband's stuff that was in storage at one of the rooms at Dante's house also went with the flames and she was not yet told of the extent of the fire's damage. I'm sure that it will also be tough for her to find out that she and her husband lost everything that was stored in the house that burned. A pastor friend of mine and his wife had asked Dante and his family to attend their church service this coming Sunday...and they intend to take up a special love offering to help my brother. School begins in mid June in the Philippines and they have lots of school needs especially for two kids and a grandchild for this coming school year. Please remember to uphold Dante and his family in your daily prayers. If you would like to make a donation to help with all that was lost, please click here. Pastor Wally received the following e-mail from the host family in Baguio City in the Philippines: Greetings in the name of the Lord! My heart and so everyone is very much excited and all who witness God's awesome presence thru the seminar last May 1 and 2 with Ptr. Wally and team here in the city of Baguio. Though I was not able to attend completely the seminar, been getting reports that everybody were blessed, strengthened and encouraged. Attendance range from 120-150 leaders and pastors from 40+ fellowships and ministries. Brethren from Lutheran min. came, even from evangelical churches (Baptist and Nazarene pastors to add). One pastor who was not able to attend the seminar here in Baguio, went to the Laoag crusade with the news of God filling up the capitol grounds, healing sick people, saving souls and he was happy to see politicians listening while Ptr. Wally was speaking even though it drizzled on Monday afternoon. A lot are anticipating for the return of the servant of God and my husband and I are so privileged and blessed that God allowed us to know Ptr. Wally and sis. Mat. The Lord did orchestrate all the event of the seminar. Our thanks for all the prayers and support. God bless, sis. Rose and bro. William
