Since it’s inception in November, 2003, the Love the Children Program of Christians In Crisis has been able to touch small lives in the following ways:

In January of 2004, CIC/LTC delivered backpacks filled with necessity items and gifts to very poor gypsy families in Romania . . . more have been sent since then . . we were also blessed to share the good news of our Savior, Jesus, with these beautiful people. Although Romania is essentially ‘free’ now, extreme poverty, prejudice and persecution from the Orthodox church still exists for many.

In March of 2004, CIC/LTC took the love of Jesus and also delivered necessity items and small gifts to poor children and families in The Philippines. In addition, more than 300 pair of flip-flops and shoes were given . . . more gifts and necessities have been sent since then . . . more are still needed . . .

Suggested items to ship to the poor children/families in The Philippines:

Twin-sized flat sheet, Wash cloth, hand & bath towel, Toothbrush w/cover, Two tubes of toothpaste, Two bars of soap, Shampoo & lotion in Ziploc bags, Flip-flops, size 5-6 ½, T-shirt, Small flashlight w/extra batteries, Small stuffed toy, Other small toys/games, Gum or candy, School Supplies.

Since August of 2004, CIC/LTC has been sending boxes of wonderful, hand-made scarves, baby blankets, hats, gloves, socks and many other gifts to our contact in Nepal, who not only uses them to bless the poor and needy believers, but is also reaching out to the unreached through orphanages and street children . . . even cancelled stamps can make a way for someone to hear the Good News . . . he is also involved in feeding programs for children and sports outreaches . . . help is always welcome and very needed . . .

In November of 2004 and January of 2005, CIC/LTC collected suitcases full of small, stuffed toys for refugee and orphan children of war-torn Indonesia . . . some of these were personally delivered by Brother Terry of CIC in February of 2005 . . .
