On Sunday, December 17, a suicide bombing struck a church in Quetta, Pakistan, killing nine and injuring at least 57 others. Six of the victims were laid to rest on the following Monday while another two were buried the following Thursday. The body of the watchman who was also killed in the attack was sent to his home village in Punjab. Following this attack, the community has rallied together in support of the church and security has been tightened among places of worship throughout Pakistan.
